Evening Run - BYO Picnic

Westerfolds Park - Templestowe

For our first mid-week event for the year we are having an evening picnic at Westerfolds Park. Many of you will remember that these evening events were often arranged by late member Gary Miles and his wife Kris. This picnic is a repeat of the last one that they arranged in 2020.

Join us from 5.00 pm onwards to enjoy our first evening run for the year at Westerfolds Park in Templestowe. The park is gently sloping with many shady trees along the walking track leading down to the river, which features much birdlife.

Enter the park from the main entrance leading off Fitzsimons Lane (Melway Ref: Page 33, G 2), and follow the road round to the right and along to the ’Red Stringy Bark Car Park’ and find a parking spot. From there, look for our VDC Club Banner which will be located near to one of the several Picnic Shelters and come over to meet up with your friends.

Bring your own everything including chairs & tables. We cannot guarantee there will be a BBQ or Shelter available entirely for our use. We will try to set up early to claim what space we can.
