To Blackburn Lake we'll venture,

Bring food and drink as a quencher.
In vintage cars with style

Arrive with friends and smile.

From five pm we'll meet,

On Central Rd, park on the street

Food is available in Blackburn town,
Just two minutes drive so don't you frown.
With pizza, noodles and even kebabs,

You might be lucky and find some crab,

To eat for dinner while talking cars, 

And trucks and bikes, 

It's sure to be a great delight

To see you there on Wednesday night

The fifteenth of February

By the Blackburn tributary.

With hundreds of birds and possums and gliders

And fish and lizards and maybe some snakes,

There's plenty to see and you might even take

A stroll around the wonderful lake.

But make no mistake, you could simply eat steak

And salad and cake

And sit and enjoy the magnificent view

Of vintage cars being used as intended

Driving 'round town, it truly is splendid.
