I have a 12volt dash board electric clock that needs repair.
Any suggestions as to who might do this
I have heard the Howard Instruments in Heidelberg have a man who can do these, but dont hold your breath - apparently he is casual, or comes in when he feels like it.
Can anybody advise where I can get 6v bulbs in Melbourne please ?
What wattage do you want?
I have a few - all my cars are 12v now so I don't need them
You'll find them at swap meets.
You might try Henry's model T and A parts in Ballan. As the name suggest, he has parts for Ford, which were 6V. His phone number is 5368 1088. Keith Eastwood.
i have a good range of both 6v and 12v globes
email me what you want and I can reply to an email address
with pictures etc
val bugeja email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi Mark Blackman....for what it's worth....My Chrysler 65 was 12-volted some 10 years ago, running the 6 volt Delco starter with about 12 metres of welder cable between starter and solenoid....no problems as yet...good luck
